The Veggie Van Training Center conducted interviews with key informants from 10 organizations operating mobile markets in rural areas in the United States and Canada. The key informants shared their experiences highlighting challenges exacerbated by operating in a rural area. This document also provides policy considerations and practical implications of the research. The study team would like to thank the Healthy Food Financing Initiative for funding the rural mobile market study, and the first iteration of Mobile Market 101, which was specifically for mobile markets operating in rural areas.
